Hi, I'm Moira

Board Member

Moorabool Shire Councillor

Small business owner

Community volunteer

National Badminton champ

I'm on the Board at Bacchus Marsh Grammar in Melbourne's mighty West, and an active Councillor for Moorabool Shire, a local government area with a population of over 35,000.

In addition to these leadership roles, I'm a small business owner, regular guest on Apple 98.5FM and member of BizConnect, a small business networking group in Moorabool Shire.

My key interest areas
Mental health & wellbeing

The mental health and wellbeing of the Moorabool Shire community is a huge priority for me. There is a need for support now and for it to continue.

Community sport & art

Sports, community, art, and cultural groups all matter – and need advocating for. Speak to me and I will listen. I’ll do what it takes to support everyone equitably.

Volunteering locally

Volunteering in Moorabool Shire for more than 20 years has been a wonderful journey. I have gained many experiences that are transferable to the world of Local Government and advocacy.

Looking after our environment

I love Moorabool for its rural feel, stunning natural beauty and the fact it is a great place to raise a family. It needs to stay that way.
